PlaySequence FAQ

Quick answers for players who want to understand how PlaySequence works before starting a game.

About PlaySequence

PlaySequence is built for people who want the familiar Sequence-style board game experience online. The focus is quick room setup, readable board state, bot practice, and mobile-friendly play.

The public pages on this site explain the rules and strategy. The app itself handles account sign-in, rooms, live games, friends, coins, and settings.

Common questions

Can I play Sequence online for free?

Yes. PlaySequence supports free online play from the web and mobile apps. Optional coins and rewards exist inside the app, but you can start playing without a subscription.

Can I play with friends?

Yes. Create a private room, share the room code, and have everyone join the same table. Private rooms are separate from general referral links.

Can I practice alone?

Yes. Bot practice lets you learn the board, test Jack timing, and build confidence before joining multiplayer games.

Can I play Sequence against the computer?

Yes. PlaySequence includes bot practice, so you can play against the computer online before joining a live multiplayer room.

How do one-eyed and two-eyed Jacks work?

Two-eyed Jacks are wild cards for placing a chip on an open space. One-eyed Jacks remove an opponent's chip unless that chip is already protected in a completed sequence.

How many sequences do you need to win?

The usual goal is two completed sequences in two-player or two-team games, and one completed sequence in three-player or three-team games.

Does PlaySequence work on phones?

Yes. PlaySequence is available on Android and iPhone, and browser play is also available for players who do not want to install an app.

What happens if I refresh during a game?

The app is designed to help active players return to ongoing games. If you are signed in, the home screen can show active games that can be rejoined.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings in the app, go to the Account section, and choose Delete Account. The public delete-account page also lists the steps.

Next step

Try the idea in a bot practice game, then bring it into a private room or online match once it feels natural.
